One sure way of increasing your milk supply is by feeding baby on-demand. Let your baby dictate his feeding schedule and not the other way around. The more frequent he feeds, the more milk you will produce. It would also help if you can give your breasts two to three circular massages before feeding.
Try expressing milk through hand massage. It is less traumatizing to the breasts than using breast pumps. During the first six weeks, expressing by hand is better and also less frustrating.
