Kate Carried on Without Pain Killers

Looks like Princess Kate’s preparations for a natural birth has paid off! She kept calm and birthed on, bringing little Prince George Alexander into the world via normal spontaneous delivery (NSD).

What’s truly remarkable is that the Duchess of Cambridge remained serene and collected without the help of any painkillers throughout the 11-hour labor and birth. Prince William was with her from the very beginning and remained at her side, lending strength and support while midwives and doctors were on-hand.

Earlier on, it was reported that Princess Kate had decided on a natural birth and even included hypnobirthing as part of her birth plan. The royal couple’s main goal was to have a healthy baby and safe delivery.

Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent, a professor at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS, and three other midwives carefully watched over the birth of the third in line to the throne. Renowned British physician Marcus Setchel and two other doctors also monitored the delivery, ready to step in should any problems arise.

However, all indications pointed to a hitch-free childbirth without any complications and less than 24 hours after the birth, the new royal family was able to meet the world on the steps of the hospital, happily beaming.
